Safeguarding is of paramount importance to all of us at St Edmund Campion. It underpins everything that we do and is embedded firmly within the support we give for the children in our care.
What are Designated Safeguarding Leads?
All staff have a responsibility for the well being and safety of children at our school. The Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL's) are specific individuals who are trained even further in safeguarding and have ultimate responsibility for reporting and managing any cases of concern. Once a staff member has observed a safeguarding concern, they will report it to the DSL's who will then manage the concern from then on.
Anybody can report a concern to a DSL.
